Bosnek
The Bosnek karst region is situated close to Sofia (40 min by car) in the foot of the Mount Vitosha. Exploring shows that more of the cave systems in the area are connected with underground-river and the total length of the system could reach 40 km approximately. The exploration is still continuing.

• Duhlata - 17 500m. The biggest cave in Bulgaria. Sophisticated labyrinth system. Beautiful crystals, underground rivers, cave formations.
  • Vreloto - 5800m. Huge system with underground rivers, vertical descends, huge halls, perfect crystals. There are the largest cave halls and volumes in Bulgaria. In process of exploring (team of club Extreme).
    • Edelweis - Found by team of club Extreme.
      • Extreme - (-65m) The last found cave in the area (team of club Extreme). In process of exploring.
        • Akademik - 500m with huge hall.
          • Pepelyanka - 150m with beautiful formations.
            • PPD - 1020m (-125m) Vertical cave.

In this region there are more than 30 vertical caves.

      • Zmeyova Dupka - (-52m). The hall reached after descend is one of the most beautiful in Bulgaria.

Researches in this cave systems shows that the waters of Mladenova Propast goes underground in the Ponora cave that makes total length of the system over 7000m.
